What data we process

• Data you send us with the quotation, part request and contact forms: name, company, email address, phone number, country, your message and the products, part numbers and quantities you ask for.
• Technical data: like any website, the web server records the requests it receives (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser). To limit abuse of the forms, a pseudonymised code derived from the IP address is kept for 24 hours.
• Request statistics: for each request sent we record only the date, the type of request, the number of items, the country you entered and the page it came from, without names or contact details.
• Browsing data collected by Google Analytics and Google Ads, only if you accept the cookies: pages visited, device and browser, approximate location, the source of your visit and whether you sent a request.

Purposes and legal basis

• To reply to your requests and send you the quotations you ask for: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To keep the website secure, prevent abuse and count the requests received: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To measure visits and the results of our advertising with Google Analytics and Google Ads: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Providing your data is optional, but without your name and email address we cannot reply to you.

How the data is handled and for how long

The forms are not stored on this website: their content is sent by email to our sales office and kept as commercial correspondence for as long as necessary to manage your request and any following business relationship, and for the periods required by law. Web server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted.

Who receives the data

Our staff in charge of sales and administration, and the IT service provider that manages the website and its servers, appointed as data processor. The website’s servers are located in the European Union. If you accept the cookies, the browsing data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC as independent controllers or processors; it may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The data is not disclosed to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies

Cookie	Purpose and duration
rfq	Technical. Keeps your quotation list while you browse. Set only when you add a product; deleted when you close the browser or send the request.
gis_consent	Technical. Remembers your choice about cookies, for 6 months.
gis_lead	Technical. Lasts 5 minutes after you send a request, so that the request can be counted in Google Analytics and Google Ads if you have accepted the cookies.
_ga, _ga_*	Google Analytics 4, only with your consent. Distinguish visits, up to 2 years.
_gcl_au and other Google Ads cookies	Google Ads, only with your consent. Measure the requests that come from our ads, up to 90 days.

Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you press Accept. You can change your choice at any time: open the cookie settings.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@tecnicaindustriale.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
